What this is

Financials covers the money side of the studio — what is coming in, what is going out, and the reports that explain both. Invoices tie back to projects. Expenses tie back to clients. Contractor bills tie back to assignments. Recurring services run on schedule without you remembering them. The reports answer the operating questions of the studio in plain language, drawn from the same records the rest of the system runs on.

What's in it

The records and the work that runs against them.

Invoicing

Professional invoices with Stripe payments built in. Branded under your studio name. Pay link the client can use without an account. Status visible — sent, viewed, paid, overdue. Aging shown by days outstanding. Reminders that go out without you writing them.

Expenses

Every expense tied to the client or the project it belongs to. Receipts attached. Categories you set. Markup applied per studio rules so the cost passes through correctly. The expense report your accountant asks for, available without an export.

Services

Recurring revenue from retainers, ongoing engagements, monthly subscriptions you bill clients for. Define the cadence, the rate, the renewal terms. Plero generates the invoices on schedule and tracks renewals.

Contractor bills

The other side of Talent OS. Contractors submit bills against their assignments. Bills that match cleanly get approved in one pass. Bills that do not match the assignment get flagged for review before they hit the books.

Reports

Revenue by client. Margin by project. AR aging — who owes you and for how long. Period comparisons. Year-end totals — collected, paid out, expensed. Drawn from the same data the invoices and the bills come from.

Year-end and 1099 reporting

Contractor payments rolled up by year. Contractors paid more than $600 surfaced. Missing W-9s flagged. The export your accountant can hand to the IRS.
